2.1.2
Knowledge Base Approval Workflows, and Datasource Schema Management
Wiki Knowledge Base Approval Workflow
Team members can now submit edits to Knowledge Base pages through a structured approval process, track the status of their submissions from a dedicated panel, and receive email notifications when changes are reviewed.
Admins get a full review dashboard with side-by-side diffs, risk indicators, bulk actions, and change history—making it easy to manage knowledge base updates at scale. Orion automatically assesses the significance of the changes using a set of risk criteria, auto-approving minor formatting fixes while flagging significant rewrites for careful review.
Datasource Schema Management
You can now browse and manage your connected datasource schemas directly within Orion. The schema page displays tables, columns, relationships, and fields for SQL, Looker, and Power BI datasources, complete with an interactive ER diagram for SQL sources. You can enable or disable individual entities from the AI context, giving you precise control over which data the system can access during analysis.
Improvements
- Looker datasources now display with much greater clarity in Metrics, and Metrics properly appear in notebooks
- Admins can now grant viewers access to data analysis in chat on a per-project basis through Project Settings
